Test principle.
 
1. Round fabric specimens under a certain pressure, and standard abrasives according to Lissajous (Lissajous) curve of the trajectory of mutual friction, resulting in specimens broken, the number of broken specimens wear resistance to express the wear resistance of the fabric.
 
2. Round specimen and the same material fabric under a given pressure, to Lissajous graphical motion trajectory for friction, to reach the specified number of revolutions, the evaluation of the specimen pilling grade.

For different fiber raw materials fabric, wool woven fabric wear resistance is good, viscose woven fabric wear resistance is poor, polyester/cotton blend woven fabric wear resistance in the middle. This is consistent with the deformation capacity of fiber raw materials in repeated stretching, the abrasion resistance of the fabric is good. Fiber deformation capacity in repeated stretching is determined by the strength, elongation and elasticity of the fiber. Therefore, although the strength of wool fiber is not high, but its elongation and elasticity is large, and the fracture work after repeated stretching is reduced less, and the abrasion resistance of its fabric is better. Although the strength of viscose fiber is high, but its elasticity is poor, and the work of breaking after several stretches decreases significantly, so the abrasion resistance of its fabric is poor. Polyester fiber fracture work is large, elastic recovery ability is high, and cotton blend after these properties have decreased, but the wear resistance of its blended fabrics is still quite good.
